Fun, fun night of b'ball in Climax. PG got the sweep. Patriot girls came back and won 67-57 while the Pat boys prevailed 64-59.

I'll have a little more detail tomorrow......

For about two and a half quarters, the ER girls looked like they were in full control. PG was down nine and they were having a lot of trouble stopping Brecken Snotherly. And then....

PG just decided to channel their inner Golden State. They started cookin' from beyond the arc. Allie Frazier, in particular, absolutely went off during this timeframe. She was hitting threes from everywhere. Frazier looked like a prime Chris Mullin shooting that ball. Man, she was spectacular. Edi Austin and Maddie King also hit some big threes during this stretch.

As time wound down, you could see PG's confidence growing and growing by the second. Great win for those ladies.

I forgot to mention that the PG boys also made a good comeback to get their victory. ER had built a 33-20 halftime lead and PG looked as flat as a junkyard tire. In the second half, things just switched. ER went cold and PG remembered who they were. The Patriots eventually took the lead within the last five minutes.

Once again, Zane Caudle was money from the line down the stretch. I think he hit at least five free throws in the last couple of minutes. Micheal Fee had a nice game. Chase Whitaker had some big buckets.

ER got no one to blame but themselves for this one. Davonte Brooks was having a nice game, especially that first quarter. I didn't think he was going to be stopped the way he came out of the gate. Bryce Foland did an awesome job on the boards.
