Eastern Randolph at Lincolnton 2nd Round

Lincolnton scored TDs on every possession (except when the clock ran out on them at the end of the first half and the last possession of the game when they took a knee to end it). The last couple minutes of the 3rd qtr and the entire 4th qtr were played with a running clock.

After they took the ball at the beginning... Went 6 plays and Scored that quick....I was like oh crap...but we then score in 5 plays and it was on from there...

Way to go Wolves. Get ready for Hendersonville. Great job.
Also, a tip of the hat to Eastern Randolph. They're a gritty team and don't quit. With their speed and passing game I see why they had nine wins.

Thanks RedRaiderhood. The Raiders are blazing. Best of luck on your way to the title game.

Enjoyed the game and the atmosphere as usual, Mr. Lincolnton. Since Rowdy was freezing, from eating three scoops of vanilla ice cream, we decided to leave at the start of the 4th quarter. I hate I missed you to tell you good bye. Good luck to the Wolves going forward. A few more adjustments on defense wouldn't hurt, but otherwise they have a great offense. I was good to see my friend, KH, as well.

Thank you, my friend.Glad you and Rowdy made it down. Got to agree with you on defense.
Hendersonville will be coming to town, next week.

Yes congratulations Wolves. ER had no answer for 14. The only dback tall enough to have a chance against him came up with a bad knee midway through 2nd quarter and had not stopped him yet.
As I have said numerous times this ER team overachieved. Offense carried them through many games.
Thanks for hospitality from Lincolnton area people. Good luck rest of way.

And where is that Reidsville guy who said he would be first on here to admit he was wrong if ER scored more than 14?

You guys come out fast paced and in past adventures for us that's proven disastrous... Didn't see it being a crazy outcome as such...I forgot to ask which player was yours....#82 was my kid...good luck to you guys in future seasons....I wouldn't even worry about the reidsville fans...they are in their eyes "on another level this year"...which is yet TBD....

Your son did a fine job. Mine is #45 played WR. Had one target and it hit him in foot.

ER QB was off just a little. Part nerves probably and defense had a lot to do with it.

Got a question wanted to ask. On that PI in end zone against ER did dback run into receiver? From visitors side all we could see were his hands in air.

Wish there had not been a hold on that TD pass in 2nd quarter(and it was). Could have made you guys sweat a little while longer.

You have a good team and hope they do well.

Good luck next week.

I thought the pass interference was a bad call. The DB never turned around to play the ball, but I didn't think he made contact before the ball got there which I thought made it a clean play. Officials seem like they wanna call pass interference every other time there's a pass. I wish they would let the players battle it out for the ball a little more.

Like I said could not tell from where we were. Would not have made a difference in result just looked strange with both of his hands in the air.

Enjoyed our trip. Only complaint was there must have been a skunk on the creek somewhere cause you could get a good whiff of him occasionally. And result of course.

Liked parking, short walk to gate. Thanks for letting me know.

And not to beat a dead horse but
Ramfan002 where you at? Last I checked 27 more than 14?

That was a horrible call...we had that same crew a few weeks before and they were horrible then...

Like I said I am sure it didn't effect the final outcome just looked off. Oh and when they called hurdling on extra point block? From where we sat looked like player slid between linemen.

Trust me I know him and he didn't "hurdle" anybody.

Been good talking with you guys.

Mr. Cheerduck, sir, the pleasure was all mine. It was certainly good to see you again and be able to catch up, if even just for a few minutes. I'm glad Rowdy and yourself had a good time, and we look forward to seeing you again real soon. Like I mentioned to Lincolnton & yourself, it sure would be a treat to get some of the guys together again for another eat & greet. If so I've got to ask you about an acquaintance of mine that attended the Glenn Alpine school. Perhaps you two know each other. We'll definitely have to chat about that later, perhaps over lunch with Lincolnton and yourself at the Longview Country Club.

Anytime old friend. I majored in lunch at the last school of higher learning I attended. The GA connection would be interesting as well.
