Its got crazy and they say this new hurricane may tack over us Thursday. With more water if we could get a early freeze we could play some ice hockey but the heat index right now is 94! Summer won't end!schools down east probably need to take up water polo this season....this is getting old for you folks...I was noticing that Clinton has only played 4 games....Reidsville has played 8......................................
if Clinton wins the ECC they will be seeded among the conference champions but with a 9 game schedule and 1 loss they would be seeded probably last among that group, still not bad but they got to win out to do that and with the last 3 games being WRH, ED and JK thats a tall order but one I think they're capable of. The Horses play at Goldsboro friday and its their call but I'd go ahead and move that game up to Wednesday or delay it till Monday.(they say the storm is coming Thursday)If they dont play until Monday the Horses will only have played 1 game in 45 days and only 1 home game. They will only have 4 home games this regular season. Duplin County schools are playing, but they're still out of school this week! The northeast quadrant of hurricane Florence just hung over Duplin and Sampson County for 4 days dumping a unbelievale amount of rain.Looks like Clinton will only get in 9 games regular season. Really hurts for seeding even if they win the ECC.
SWO has only played 5 but we will get in the 11 games, Unless something else blows in.....![]()
Update on rescheduled games:
Now the SWO and another game has been upped to Wednesday also. If anybody else is thinkin about it better go ahead. I wouldnt want to count on moving to Monday. Not to many more inches of rain and things could get bad over the weekend. Hope NOT.
the hurricane is moving faster than last night, now it appears the hurricane will be crossing the GA/SC border same path this way at midnight Wednesday night. Thursday will be a rainy day in the Carolinas. By midnight Thursday, the hurricane will be off the Virginia coast. This hurricane doesn't have the same large footprint as Florence, and it will be a mover.Looking at hurricane software, it appears this Hurricane Michael may over Clinton and be between Goldsboro and Greenville Thursday night midnight/55mph winds. I don't know about football Friday, not looking too good
Looks like Friday night will end up being fine. Just a little damp
I thought it would be moved out by Friday morning as quick as it is travelingLoL yea right. No team will be playing Friday night dude. Tons of rain and heavy winds

I don’t know where you get your flood data from but the NE Cape Fear is at a gauge height of 5 feet right now, was around 18-19 during Florence. Nowhere near flood stage. The tropical storm is a glancing blow to the state moving out to sea. 4-5 inches of rain will not push the rivers into flood stage. The New River is at a gauge height of 3 feet right now, was around 25 during Florence. Again nowhere near flood stage unless an act of God happens.Brother a four to five inches of rain, which their calling for, will put all the rivers back up to flood level. Will be a shit show again

USGS water data is the sourceCertain parts of each river are at flood stage. What website are you referring too? Places are still flooded
