Eastern Alamance ineligible player now human trafficking case

It is being reported in the local paper that a couple has been arrested for human trafficking and that one of the persons trafficked was a player at Eastern Alamance. The persons arrested posted a fake school website in Charlotte and lured several Nigerian families to enroll their children in this school at an exorbitant cost. The students were then enrolled in local schools using faked documents. Several of the students are females and cannot be accounted for and maybe used in sex trafficking according to the reporting law enforcement agency.
 
Is this the same guy that tried to get players from Purnell Swett to Riverside Christian Academy?

No more international recruiting for this fella.

He is locked up from the world and there won't be no more traffic coming across the Atlantic Ocean into a small foreign town in the United States of America where the Nigerians never made it to.

$19,000 for the school fine. And the Fellas under a three-million-dollar Bond...... and the ineligible player never played one minute ....

was it worth it?

I still cannot see how good ol Christian Academy coach was smeared in this powerful oil painting. Not even Bob Ross could accomplish such painting..

Robeson County law enforcement authorities are now investigating the those arrested in Alamance County for the location of 18 teens that have 'vanished' (their words). Federal and state authorities have opened an investigation.

Scumbags got their bonds reduced to $10,000 and are out of jail.
 
- The caretakers of the juvenile have been charged with felony common law obstruction of justice and obtaining property by false pretense

- Hines recruiting and keeping 18 kids in a house in Pembroke after allegedly taking thousands of dollars from each on a promise he would provide them with educations and athletic career prospects

- Hines and spouse could be part of a larger human trafficking organization involving the recruitment of foreign students to the United States to go to nonexistent private schools and play sports.

And the mess goes on........
 
No where is there any reports of email traffic as evidence.....or did I miss it in any of these 20 articles?

I know it's crazy, but I hope this is in no way connected with the Boko Haram situation

This whole thing is awful. Then some of you guys make light of it with stupid rhymes and crap. WTH? Some of you need to go find a cesspool to play in and quit tryin to make this forum one.

Western Alamance should not be fined and penalized for whats happened. How are they any better than the documentation thats been given to them? The NCHSAA needs to revisit what they've done.

Superintendent of ABSS says Eastern High bears no responsibility or culpability in anything that law enforcement is investigating . While this may be true that the school and the traffickers did not collude in the illegal activity the legal doctrine of 'possession of illegal property' applies. Somebody in the schools chain of command should have known what they say they did not know. Also what did they know and when did they know it. A 6'4'' 200 plus pound male with shaved beard stubble saying he's 14 years old and producing documents is like buying a new Cadillac for a $1000 with a crayon written title from S. America. On the ol' scales of justice what one does weighed against what one should have done is judged by a reasonableness statute not ''excuse me cause' I am stupid''.

I am from Central America. The Panama Canal zone place to be exact. Down in that body of water, if us short, thin, brown skinded people see a 14yr old, 200lb 6'4" kidster in the Higher School Province.....we kinda give that look

Is there now question about the ages of the student? As long as he meets the 19 year birthday cutoff he would be eligible but I get the idea that if he looks 18, is from a foreign country, does not live with his parents, and is a freak athlete as a freshman that someone needs to look a little deeper. No one knows what EA staff did for follow up and I doubt that this is something that they would deal with except for once in a coaching career in Alamance County.
 
There are some railroad tracks in the city of Mebane where the local folks keep getting runned over by the train. The train blows its horn, blinks its lights, there is a fence along the property line, there are two sets of cross bucks with lights and bells and signs. So if ya see the train coming, step off the tracks, and let it go run over somebody else.

Well I was standing on the Corner of US 70 and Fifth Street in Mebane and I saw this guy stop his car on the tracks. The lights started flashing and the bells started ringing and a cross buck came down in front and behind him. That should have been a clue to anybody that was setting on railroad tracks to take action like 'foot off brake'. When the train hit him he was looking at us like we were stupid. All our wavin' and hollerin' didn't do no good. The train just knocked him off the tracks and his dad showed up and asked the police officer who was at fault. I thought that fault was settled about 18 years earlier when the drivers parents did what they did instead of anything else. Same thing goes for a school when a Lebron James looking kid shows up and says he is 14 years old. But that's why on a Drano can its printed 'don't drink this' and ammo boxes have 'don't point loaded at guns at folks you don't want to shoot'.
 
The kid at Eastern is only doing with his birth certificate what Barack Obama did with his.
 
Easterns defense should be they are running a pilot program from a Butch Davis instructional video.
