I will simply repeat what I have said for two years now. With no split, we have have four different champions in this alignment.
Whomever wins 2a will have to earn it. Great teams. Several teams can win it all

Thanks, yeah I would’ve thought it was Shelby but I guess Reidsville may be more of a dynasty and have a better football tradition there
Don't exclude Maiden and Shelby (other team in Cleveland county). Team has to get some breaks and get momentum.
Cleveland County is the football capital of NC hands down!!
Arguably I would say Cleveland County! Shelby, Burns, Crest and Kings Mountain. JMO
I think the East is wide open.
Princeton has got the best draw but I do not think they make it to the regional final. Their defense is suspect at best,
All of the teams have question marks but the usual suspect are all capable. Around these parts, I question WRH's offense. I question JKs offense IF they fall behind. I question EDs defense and depth. I question how good Clinton really is given their SOS and the St Pauls game they should have lost. I question Northeastern and Hertford if they play a team that runs an offense they dont usually see (ED, WRH, JK, Princeton). I question Whiteville and their health. The ED/Clinton/JK/Whiteville side is stronger than the Princeton side IMO.
All that being said, I dont know. Check back with me in four weeks and I will have a better idea.

I think you are right on point. I also think the state championship will be won by a western team unless of course NE comes out the east.

Wow I didn’t realize that all those schools were in Cleveland County. That’s some football powers for sure. I think your county schools may be better than the DC3 in the east.
Duplin County football is pretty solid but it pales in comparison to the teams in Cleveland County year in and year out.
Worth pointing out that there is a large difference in enrollment and resources. I would also venture to guess its easier logistically for those in Cleveland County as it roughly half the size of Duplin in land area but twice as many people. Easier for kids to get to practice, community resources, finances, etc.. Taking nothing away from the four Duplin schools, but the Crests, Kings Mountains, Shelbys and Burns year in and year out are better collectively, IMO.

100,00ish in Cleveland county to 48,500 ish in duplin……I’d hope they would be better county wide
It appears Burns is becoming the Football Power in Cleveland County. Shelby has slipped mightily this year. They have fewer cheerleaders on these threads this year. I looked back at last years threads. Some names are now absent. Maybe they now wear Bulldogs hoodies with Shelby T-shirts underneath.
I’m starting to think you’re a Shelby fan. You talk about Shelby more than you do Reidsville. You even started that Shelby vs Forest Hills thread. You looked back at last season’s Shelby based threads. Smh…. Get over that loss last season, man. It’s not that serious. Did it hurt worse or something, because it was at the hands of Shelby? Get over it. Your sudden infatuation with Shelby ain’t a good look. Heck, most didn’t even know you were even a Reidsville guy until reading this post.

winning the first game is important. who will have control over the odds? someone gonna take a change and be great. it's now or never.
Blown away by CSD passing numbers.
QB Sirianni is currently 20th overall in the country.
His receiver…Mullins…a junior… is 12th overall.
Their game against East Gaston will tell us a lot.
I've got my own "equation" together that I've worked on...it ain’t perfect or close to CalPreps or Massey by any means. Just a little Catawba County equation mixed with some Maiden Persuasion...
Anyway, people might be surprised the score of that game I've got cooked up. East Gaston is no push over, but they aren't defending the pass well either. It'll be fun!
