D1 recruit Demetrius Mauney will gash the line of scrimmage for big gains. He doesn’t really look intimidating, but he is a man among boys out on the field. Polk not only has to worry about Mauney but about half a dozen more offensive weapons. They have lit up scoreboard all year. Next Friday’s matchup shouldn’t be any different.

Since ER was idle last week, I’m hoping they worked on defense. Would love to see defense step it up this week and shutdown Polk.

I would never have thought Polk would be by Halftime. Defense finally came to play in second half. ER shut out Polk 34-0 in 2nd half for a final of 54-21. At least 2 tds were called back.
Gotta get a lot better defensively as conference play starts next week.
