East Rowan looking for new Head Football Coach

East Rowan announced today a "move in a different direction for the football program" and has posted the head football coaching job. John Fitz has coached 35 years, the last 7 as East's head coach.

Will Kenneth McClamrock come out of retirement?

I think they need someone young and someone who is willing to stay long term n build up this program - How is the Admin Support? How are the youth teams for ER and gotta keep kids there but also get few kids from other teams when they can because I know they have gotten few transfer here n there in recent memory.

East has good fan support, it’s a great community and they deserve a winning program

It’s mostly a joke - we talk all the time so I know he has the itch but I’m sure it has to be the right job. I tell him every time there a job open so He a good coach n one of my people

Would the Montgomery Central coach be a good fit? I saw him mentioned in the Union Pines opening. I know he has had success everywhere prior to the merger in Montgomery.
