East Gaston HC is open

The could potentially win 4 conference games and wouldnt have to be real good to do it. (not gimmies, just the potential is there for them to win). Stuart Cramer, Bessemer, Cherryville, and Highland Tech. If they could get those 4 and have a friendly non conference schedule where they could get 1-2, then they could have a winning record.

I've gotten to know Medici, Eg new head coach, over the last few months and he's doing all the right things in my opinion. He regularly attends middle school games of the kids that will be coming in the program and trying to build those relationships. If you don't know him I'd say get to know him if you can, give the man a chance. I think he'll be just fine in the long run and he's definitely in it for the long haul! The kids at Eg love him and all speak very highly of him.
I heard he’s still trying to figure out what offense to run? It’s May…

I say we beat Cherryville and Highland out of that list…

EG is 2-3 years from having some decent teams and that will all depend on how Medici can develop some good talent coming up and how much these kids grow.

Stanley Middle played in the last (2) Gaston County Championship games. EG is waiting on that talent to get there.

Not if SP, Crest, or Kings Mountain have anything to say about it. If coaches like Hodge, Strait, or Greg pick up the phone and show even a little interest, those kids won’t hesitate—they’ll be on on their way. And if it is still a mess by the time they hit 9th grade? You can bet they’ll be sprinting to a program that looks more stable and serious about winning.

How Crest get into this? 😂

Part of this is correct. The key components of this years 8th grade class at Stanley are going to EG. But I can guarantee that if after (2) years nothing has changed there will be some flipping and it would come from the most integral part of what's coming in; 6'0" 165 lb kid that is the future QB and #1 arm for baseball.

Heard he could already be on the move. Possible to Cramer whose gotten the last few POY's from Stanley, Lincoln Charter, or another that has slipped my old head.

Heard folks talking at one of the last baseball games at EG.

I'm close to that situation. He's at EG until they let him down. All of his friends are there and thats where he wants to be. He did look around but ultimately is going to EG. He's too good of a talent to let it waste away.

This will mark the first year out of the last (4) that Cramer wont be getting the best middle school pitcher in the county coming out of Stanley. Only year in debate was two years ago with Parker Anderson at Chavis. He and Jack Scholz were pretty close. But before that you had Nic Stutzman, Scholz, Devin Phillips (same year Bryson Summey went to NL instead of EG).

Yep....EG should be up in arms about the SC recruiting .... esp. in baseball. They've robbed EG of a lot. I know, I know...so and so moved, etc. Still don't mean he wasn't recruited to come play. If any kid is THAT good he doesn't need to be recruited. He will make whatever team he goes to WAY better.

One kid moved. No others. EG is to blame for kids not wanting to play there. It's not recruiting. Truth be told if the stud from Stanley this year goes where he is districted he will be at Stuart Cramer. He's only at EG due to pathway through Stanley.

That's a whole nother can of worms. As Cramer and SP are the only schools in Gaston County that don't have pathways
