Wacky wacky game.
East Gaston never trailed, we scored 56 offensive points and had 2 TD's called back. Adams, Spurling and Washington each over 100+ yards rushing. Adams another 100+ passing.
Our defense was equally offensive, we can not defend the triple option!
Neither team punted or had an offensive turnover.
Both teams recovered two onside kicks.
Refs were some of the worst I've seen all year, maybe worse than last week.
Oh yeah, it was also our homecoming so that lasted another 25 minutes!

I had trouble keeping up with the scoring on Jake Flagler's twitter account. No sooner would I get one update posed, I would have to post another. Congratulations to the Warriors and good luck against Stuart Cramer and Forestview.

Looks like the preseason co-favorites Forestview and Ashbrook have folded up like cheap suits the last two weeks. What a wonderful conference we play in. EG may get the #2 spot if they win out.

Playing Ashbrook has got to be one of the most frustrating games a team must face. They play like crap 2-3 quarters, but there is always that one quarter they actually play well enough to beat you.

Wouldn't Ashbrook get the #2 if they win out?

According to the Gazette's stats we had 668 yards of total offense. Washington had 192 yards rushing, I knew he had a good game, but didn't realize it was that much.

It's a real shame we can't stop anyone on defense. This could have really potentially been a special November with a defense to go with this offense. Looks like I'll end up being a casual high school football fan going to the nearest best game around by the time Round 2 rolls around.

I always save you a seat my friend...

Who has any confidence Ashbrook will win out? That's what I meant, if EG keeps winning they can be the #2 seed.

Well, at this point after beating FV, I'm pretty sure Ashbrook should be able to beat Lake Norman Charter, and Huss .....but you're right, last week of the season both Huss and Ashbrook will have a lot to play for, and Ashbrook may not get it done, but looking back on their schedule the only head scratcher they had this year was NOGA.....the other 3 losses were to be expected. I'm not trying to pump up the hype on Ashbrook. I'm just keeping an eye on them because their finish could effect our seeding if we both end up 3AA.
