East Bladen vs Fairmont

Like what I saw from East Friday Night even though it was West Columbus. Finally no turnovers. A lot of new wrinkles on offense making us more explosive. We will see how it translate with tougher competition. Defense still looking solid. They will have some work to do Friday with the Tornados coming to town.

I don't think Fairmont can stop us so I'm thinking 49-8.

Wow! Never saw that coming. EB returns a kickoff for a TD with less than a min to go to win 42-38!

EB goes up 35-14 with 4 minutes left. A quick TD.... fumble recovery for touchdown.... onside kick recovery and TD and Fairmont is up 38-35 with just over a minute left.

Gotta love homecoming games.

Sounds like a complete brain lapse by EB being up that much with four minutes to go. Alot of things must have went just right for Fairmont and oh so wrong for EB near the end of the game. It happens.

Almost everything went right for the Tornado's in that last 4 mins. We hold on to the ball the last drive and we are not even talking about this but that's HS Football. We did a fair job on them throughout the game but things went south in a hurry there towards the end. We were lucky to win. Fairmont never stopped playing and we did. Frustrating to say the least!!!!

No...just made the mistake of thinking the game was over after making it 35-14. EB pretty much held Fairmont in check the entire second half until that dreadful last 3:58.

SC will be OK if they contain QB. Flush him out of pocket big play down field. He can pull it down and run too. They are BIG play team that can give any team fits. Defense not that good. Average High School. I saw #5 go up between 2 defenders and grab ball for a TD. He got good hands and eye coordination. SC by 3/TD when said and done.
