Rams defense is not as good, primarily because Trell Rankin graduated and is playing in Winston Salem now.

Pay no attention to the various website rankings. Instead look at the power rankings like simmons or calpreps. Computers have no bias. People do.

It's still odd that virtually every ranking of credibility and even those without credibility have teams ranked so high, only for the NCHSAA to completely take common sense out of the equations and those teams be below inferior teams.
Question? Say Randleman loses to Eastern Randolph and Mt. Heritage loses when they play Polk does that change the seeding for the Rams as far as having to travel to either one of them schools
Computers use algorithms ( a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer.) These are written by people. They have a bias based on how the programmer wishes for them to come out. One method is just as good or accurate as another. Which one you choose to believe is a matter of opinion.
You could not be more wrong. Algorithms, yes. Proven over time. Programmer does not include bias for against any team.
The NCHSAA is obsessed with politically correct outcomes. Hence the running clock so losing teams will be less embarrassed. Hence the "adjusted rankings" that do not take into account full margin of victory. Result is weaker teams can be seeded higher and get more favorable seedings.
The NCHSAA reflects current societal views about "sportsmanship". They are not concerned at all with whether the better teams are seeded higher.
Yes, the adjustments have thrown me off. ND is ranked 44 in the regular maxpreps rankings so that would make them a lock for playoffs regardless of the two remaining games, I would think. But then with adjustments ND slides about 20 some spots onto the bubble.
Oh well. ND really messed up by letting Tville upset them and now gotta deal with it.

They may say they do but I can promise you that not one team in the east wants the Northeastern Eagles coming to their town. I'm not saying they can't win, I'm just saying that NE is very dangerous as a low seed.
Bring it on!! We are 2-2 when we travel to Virginia to play y'all. Would love for the Eagles to travel to The Corral one time.

Quite a few State Runs have ended here. On the flip side we owe ya one at E City. Will have to wait and see what the seedings are. In any case I think most playoff games in the East 2A will be around here somewhere. Just hope we are there.Seems like anytime they feel like it. They may be waiting for the admission number to come out. The NCHAA already has them but when they decide to post them is anyone guess.

Well we're hoping we get a chance to travel to the corral. That's the plan anyway, but we'll have to see how the brackets shape up. Unfortunately for us Hertford County got upset by Currituck. Now instead of us being the #2 seed out of our conference we are in a three way tie for first. Our next two opponents are the equivalent of SWO playing Croatan and Trask. We can't lose even if we put in our jv's

Agreed, you owe us a couple. The last couple of trips to Elizabeth City hasn't been good for your Stallions. This year may offer an opportunity for your team to get some much needed payback. Our qb situation will play a big part in just which NE team will suiting up for the playoffs.We'll leave a light on for ya .......
You will put 11 on the field on both sides of the ball. You are someone that has to be dealt with. The way I'm hopin is another Eastern Div Final. One of us gets the thrill of Victory and the other Agony of Defeat. If the little Eaglets have to fly out of the nest and come south it will be a good game.
