One thing I noticed is they have Oak Grove in 2A and not 2AA. OG is now the biggest school in Davidson County. That will not happen. North Davidson and Thomasville are among the first five out currently.

Good gracious 2AA looks like a snooze fest after Burns, Hibriten, and South Point fight it out to play Shelby in the regionals.

Unless Anson county(going east) is better than people think

Thanks for sharing! i didn’t think it’d come out that quickly. Of course, the crazy error being Oak Grove in 2A. Pretty easy to overlook it after last year’s ADM of somewhere in the mid-700s if you weren’t familiar with how that was going to go. (And a Raleigh sports site isn’t going to know the first thing about anything West of Chapel Hill.

It does look like the East/West line will be close to Winston-Salem. Their projection of West Stokes going East shows that. West Stokes is quite a bit further west than Oak Grove. It’s going to get interesting for sure!

I don’t know why we wouldn’t go 2A. SWO is a weak team that will not make it any further than the first round.

Because the bottom 3 teams in the ECC could win 90% of the 2A conferences in the state with the exception of a few conferences in any given year.

Nah, they blew it losing to Pisgah, and they still have Polk County to play, an undefeated PC team that is quietly playing some good football. Obviously, if they win out, they will get their wish, but PC awaits.

I don’t pay much attention to HSOT except for scoreboard and they sometimes stream some games but as far as opinion, alot of times it’s a laugh

With or without Kaba I think Clinton is making a run to Eastern Final. Kaba makes them a state championship caliber team. Don’t understand how Clinton is being overlooked this badly. That WRH Clinton game possibly will be a preview of Eastern Final

My God, its a PROJECTION based off of LAST years adms and what they THINK might happen the rest of the season. Why you guys get so worked up over a bunch of hypotheticals is hilarious.

Also, this isn't the NCAA basketball tournament. The ECC has one very good team, one good team and 4 teams that you could mix up in a bag and come out in any order as there really is no big difference. Like it or not, the conference just isn't very strong this year.

FLASH BACK .......SEPT. 30 1998 ...... Richlands kicks field goal and beats SWO 3-0. That turned out to be a Flash in the Pan for the Wildcats. The players in that game probably are near having Grand Kids play now ....

Overall, all things considered, they do a great job, but yes, from what I've observed, you're A LOT more likely to find errors in their playoff projections in 2A than 4A....I will be doing 2A & 2AA soon, would like to wait until we get new ADM numbers before releasing publicly, but yes Oak Grove will most definitely be big....(HSOT didn't catch that, for example, but I bet they will take it into account in three years when Green Level will jump from ~1200 to ~1600)

They have McMichael making the playoffs. Winner between them and Morehead make the playoffs. They would be 1 and 10 if they make the playoffs. Absolutely terrible team. Way to early to predict who makes it

I could definitely see MH losing to Polk and Mitchell as well. MH is not loaded as they have been in years past. They are still a very good team that is coached well. I wouldn’t see them getting past Reidsville or any other team of that caliber (even if the game is at Heritage).

My favorite was West Wilkes somehow making 2AA despite having 750 kids last year and them having 4 wins somehow despite only winning 1.. so bad.

OG 6-0 still has Salisbury, Thomasville and Ledford to play
Salisbury 6-0 still has OG, Ledford and ND to play
Ledford 4-2 still has OG, Salisbury and ND to play
Thomasville 3-3 has OG, ND to go
ND has Thomasville, Ledford and Salisbury to go.

Those will be the top five teams in some type of order. OG, Salisbury and Ledford are fighting it out for the title, wth THS and ND fighting to stay in the playoff hunt.

OG, Ledford and ND are all 2AA. Salisbury would likely be 2A and THS is 2A.
