The complete blowouts of Page and Cape Fear say to me that this should have been the real 4A/AA championship game. The watered down classifications are providing more championships, but lopsided competition.

Blowouts in the smaller classifications as well. I hope Que Tucker looks at this and at least gives some thought to doing away with 8 champions.

Here's an idea: eliminate one non-conference game, move that game to the end of the season as an ultimate classification champion. Have the A and AA winners of each classification square off to have an ultimate classification champion.
