I am not from that area. High school sports fan and knew Steve through UNC football. Did see Sylva play at their apex against South Stanly in 2A playoff. South was very good but were blown out by about 70. Next year South lost in regional final 14-7 with SS thinking the weather and one call probably cost them the game.

BK, just curious.. You've seen both Andrews and Murphy play. What is your take on the game?
I thought Murphy looked alot more explosive.
I can't say Who will win but being at Murphy I lean towards Murphy winning but match ups is everything and I think Robbinsville played better vs Andrews than vs Murphy so that could be a factor.

Thank you for sharing this brother!! I just love reading these old stories. They sure had a run of success, WOW!! And just seemed like winners at everything they done too. Sure takes me back? How many of you feel the same way? I watched an alumni game on YouTube of Pisgah vs Tuscola and gave me goosebumps! What I wouldn’t give to turn back the clock to an injury free body and play one more time, lol….
Cutler is a hard runner and if he sees a small opening he accelerates and is gone. I know he is a iron man but he has rushed 208 times and that can take a toll.
