Hard to tell what either team will do until about the third round when you see a complete team in the playoffs. 3rd round playoff teams these days are first round playoff teams of the 70s-90s. So, weak conferences and first 2 rounds of "playoff" teams don't really mean much to the legit contenders for state championships. It makes life a little tougher when every week you can be beat. One bad game, no matter how good the team, and you are sitting home. Big difference b/w HS football these days vs. decades past.

Same way he tried to breakdown his state championship pick last year like he had a clue. He hid all year because he knew what was coming in 3A playoffs and then appeared once ADMs came out. Our defense isn't great (as has been proven by others we've played); I expect a state contender to be great in all phases. Crest wasn't that game; But maybe they are closer now. Good luck.

And they've gotten better as the season has progressed which is what you would expect from teams. Not sure why you thought they were going to come out looking like the Patriots in the first game.

Look at me!!! We're awesome too!!!" But the thing is no one cares. Maybe next year you'll be better, good luck in the weakest west 3A bracket in years. If you actually make it to havelock, you might have a chance...you're gonna need a defense though.
