I'd like to give a shout out to former Lincolnton QB Cordel Littlejohn on his commitment to Illinois. Although he and his brother transferred to 7A Roswell in Georgia they are both still very much part of the Lincolnton family. This youngin has put in countless hours of work and dedication to make this happen and we Lincolnton faithful couldn't be more proud.

Football or basketball?

Congratulations to Cordel and the Littlejohn family. I wish his grandfather was here for this news. I know he would be happy.

Just learned that Illinois has taken away their offer to Cordel and he is no longer committed. From my understanding he did nothing wrong, has good grades, the coaching staff simply just took it away from him. This is the ugly side of recruiting and I hate that it happened to someone as hardworking and deserving as Cordel. This a terrible look for this program. They're missing out on a good one.

Wolf, you are right that this is ugly and so disappointing for this young man.

Statistically his numbers are abysmal which may have a lot to do with the team and him being in a new system. Roswell lost in the state title game last year.

I think a lot of it has to do with just adjusting to a new system and the step up in terms of talent level and pace of play. It's a different ball game than 2A football in NC

Noticed on the UNC Rivals site today that he was in Chapel Hill this past weekend visiting for the Notre Dane game.... Was wondering what had happened when I first read that??
