Coach Snow steps down

I've heard several names being thrown out there and I've named a few myself. Any West fans on here? Could you tell me who you guys would like to see.
Beal, Lowman, Samek, Holcomb and McGee(even though McGee 100% not coming) in that order. Now, I'm really not expecting any of them to get the job or if they are really interested. West Offensive & Defensive Coord. are good young guys who are promising and I'm sure others around the state would be great fits. My favorites are Beal & Lowman who could be looking for something new. Samek who is on this site frequently scares me as far as his job hopping but he would be a great hire.
This would be a Chris Hughes kinda question who could shed some light by talking with the AD.

If Samek could make a destitute program like Parkland be successful, there is no telling what he could do in Clemmons with a school that has great community support and wants to win in football and puts in the resources to do that. WF could be the kind of program where he could settle in for the long haul.

I’m not certain, but I believe the Head Coach at Maiden was once an assistant at West. I do know that Maiden graduates a lot, would he be in play?

I pray it's not an internal hire. Their system has been so vanilla for the few years dive, screen then fade. That worked in conference when you had superior talent but now not so much. They need a breath a fresh air to get rid of the toxicity. There were about 10 players who could have contributed who opted not to play due to staff. They did a great job of keeping things in the village but any team that has multiple coaches fights needs to clean house.

Shoot have you ever seen an East Forsyth game? Coach Willert and his Coordinators fight every game even when they're up 60. LOL

I'm not surprised. I know some coaches who are good friends with him (he is a Surry county guy after all,) and they said he was getting to the point he was wanting to do something different. He served 14 years there; that's a good run for any coach in Winston. Many of the smaller schools struggle to keep a HC more than a term if they are lucky. NF is getting close, Atkins has kept Hamlin for 8 years; but besides that not so much. Forsyth's wide open right now for anyone who wants a job.

Won't be surprised if Coach Snow gets another job somewhere; he probably just wants to have some rest time and consider his options. Don't blame him there any 4A job is tough and WF is a huge school it's not as easy once you start getting older.
NF coach retired in 2019 and went to VA to double dip. Snow may be looking to do the same. His wife is already retired and double dipping at a Charter school.

There will be good candidates for this job. Many think that is might be the best job no one talks about. The Coach at NW Guilford is a good fit and has done a great job at NWG. Holcomb would be a very solid fit , has had years and years of winning in Davidson countybut will he leave Davidson County. He has opportunities before and stayed put. Plus he has things going the way he wants them to be going at OG. McGee is an alumni of West Forsyth but like Holcomb he has things the way he wants them so would he leave. The DC from East Forsyth Beal, has been fantastic there but does he teach, will be be in the building???? Samek what he did at Parkland might have been one of the best rebuild jobs in Forsyth County, plus he has actually taken a team to the state title game in 4A. (Rolesville). Lowman at East Surry has some rings and is a great coach and has a good resume with the winning that he has done up there at East Surry .

Ranking them they would be
1. Lowman
1A. Samek
1B NWG HC
3. Holcomb
4. Beal

Now that's just an opinion but none are a bad choice.

This is why he would do great. He gets players to the next level and the best I've seen in this area. He is in Surry but folks in Stokes speak highly. He would give East a run in few years because the talent would come.
Talent not leaving East, no matter who gets the job! It might leave Davie County or Reagan, but you not getting the MT Tabor or East kids. WF got enough to continue to win without those kids. Snow proved that.

Talking to some people close to the situation and the top 4 in contention at the moment. There is a couple more but this is what I'm hearing from a reliable source.

1. Kevin Wallace HC NWG
2. Martin Samek Fmr Rolesville/Parkland
3. Aaron Beal DC East Forsyth
4. Jonathan McIntosh DC West Forsyth
5. Jonathan Oliphant HC Lake Norman

A Good list,
No Trent Lowman, has anybody got a feel for what he's doing ? He may stay at East Surry or is he headed somewhere else like a school in Cabarrus county?
