Love this move by Butler, they have a great staff. I loved what he did at Mallard Creek and he will be a great addition.

How will the remaining Charlotte supernovas be affected during the upcoming season considering Donald is moving his furnishings, appliances, and freshly ironed apparel to Butler?

This fills a big need for Butler, they didn't have a QB coach last season to go along with their young talented QB. Great move as long as he knows Hales is the OC. If Stone stays running the defense with this team being fairly young last year this coming year could shape up to be a good one for them.

I’m sure they have a understanding him n hales talked for a few weeks prior of him making the move so

The games Butler lost were games Lawrence had multiple turnovers. The scary thing is Butler still had chances to win those games. Another set of eyes will help. Lawrence will push the ball down the field so that comes with risks.

Chambers downfall is happening so quickly. First the old staff leaves, the AD leaves and now the new OC leaves after a season.
With the recruting rule n cms actually starting pay attention with that - Chamber prob had some kids outside of their area n also when u look chambers area there no much there to draw from imo

That's what happens when you cheat. People leave because they don't want their names to be tied to what was going on over there. Too late for most, but let's call it what it really is.

Are you asserting that Chambers has a poor reputation as a result of their agendas?
Most of the dynastic teams in Charlotte have a window of dominance then they go back to what they were prior. West Charlotte, Independence, Butler, Mallard Creek went through it. West Charlotte and Independence weren’t very good for years after their run. Butler had been pretty steady since their run. Mallard Creek has started to steady the ship, we will see what happens to Chambers.

I see backward pedaling

Hmmm. West Charlotte was good prior to and after Knotts. They never reached the dominant or consistent level of Knotts, not even close, but they did make the state title game, and had a few great seasons. WC fell off once the coaching went down, and the rise of Mallard Creek/Chambers. Their demographic of player was once what WC got all the time. WC is on the path back to greatness, and is getting a much higher quality athlete. WC/Harding never got the great influx of players that Knotts got at Indy, or Dutch Fork.

Independence has returned to what they were before Knotts. That area is still very talented and Butler/Indy will eat as Rocky River suffers. Butler has great consistent coaching. Think Hales may be the longest tenured CMS coach? Could be wrong, but Butler will be a handful next season. Independence was greatly improved also.

Chambers loses alot. Expect to see MC, WC, take over that conference in coming years.

The Creek is zoned for crazy talent in Charlotte, if kids stay home, it'll be difficult to match the talent. Unless of course you go to Hough lodging. :D

Well, well, well.
The light bulb finally went off.
We have preached this for 20 years, only to be ridiculed and slandered.

And by definition, they were not “dynasties”.
One coach or one decade or one brief 3 year run. Those are not dynasties in North Carolina high school football.
There is only one NC high school football PROGRAM that far surpasses all others in sustained Championship level success.

Now you finally see the light.

I agree with you on the 3 year run part but spare us the Shelby talk. 😆

Mallard Creek. 0

Really nepsy?
Yes! 👍🏾 Really. You’re trash ! 🤷🏾‍♂️😂 How many of those kids on those 4 Championships went to college? 🤷🏾‍♂️ The part you Shelby guys don’t care to talk about. No comparison. Catch up 🤡 Show me the list of kids on college rosters & college graduates. I can assure you, we double your numbers. You girls could care less what happens to Shelby kids after graduation. That’s why you never talk about it. Embarrassing 😳

Their principal is leaving too.

Some individuals in this community keep supporting them by utilizing their undesirable agenda and making an effort to turn the ugly into the positive. You don't just have a few key leaders leave abruptly because their spouse misses her relatives in West Virginia or coach just wants to experience Florida's summertime temperature.

West Charlotte and Independence were actually good teams BEFORE their run. They weren't title dynasties, but they were playoff staples.

That is totally untrue, nepsy. And you know it.
Yet you continue to respond to us with lies.
Several of Shelby players have gone on to colleges. We have provided the list before.
We have had several college reps in the halls of Shelby High just this month.
Does MC have more recently.? Of course they do. We have never denied that 4A schools generally have more college level talent.
They are supposed to. They have a much larger student body to pull from. That is just common sense.
But we will remind you of this.
Every Thursday evening during the season, 12 to 15 adult men within the community, take about 25 players to a group dinner.
As they share time together, perhaps the most important and frequent one on one conversations center around what those players plan to do after high school.
Not just college ball, but military service, trade job opportunities and vocational schools, and college pursuits that have nothing to do with sports.
We have nothing to prove to you or anyone else regarding the very personal interest we take with ALL the players and their futures.
It’s out there for all to see.

Now who is embarrassed.
Do your homework, nepsy.

This is an example of what happens when you show up on the 4A board talking about a 2A dynasty, popping off your mouth and Hijacking threads about your program. Expect me to show up every time. Go home young lady! I double down on my previous post. You guys do a horrible job with kids who play for an alleged Dynasty after graduation. On 1 hand you're a Dynasty and world-beaters, yet the scholarship numbers don't reflect dynasty. It's because 4A has better admin numbers? GOTCHA! 😂 😂 😂

Back to the topic of Butler, and Coach LJ. Butler has numerous young guys with Power5 offers, including the QB. I speak with Coach LJ often, and he's excited about his new opportunity and working with Coach Hales.
