I also think the fact that we have no one going both ways is definitely an advantage. Whiteville has had several players go out with cramps and their defense just looks tired.
Congrats too Clinton on the beatdown they gave Whiteville tonight. They were too big too fast and too quick. I don't think anybody in the east can beat them at this point. The only thing I saw was they need to work on the penalties. They had so many I lost count. A team that can really throw the ball might give them some trouble. I think they will be in the championship game. As for my Pack, it is back to the drawing board.
I agree Strick their D is at another level. Their offense has some stars but needs some work. Congrats to the Dark Horses, sorry about the refs they were horrendous. We will lick our wounds and bounce back.
I listened to some of the broadcast during the game and caught the 4th quarter as I was leaving the stadium and on the ride home. You guys did a great job. Its good to see a radio station supporting their local team. We lost our local stations support for some reason after last year. And I was glad to hear a few commercials with Blacks Tire & Auto since that's my employer. Keep up the good work 04.
That Clinton team is one of the best teams I’ve seen in person. A lot of penalties and a few TO’s, but it hardly mattered. Long season and a lot of football to be played.
The penalties and turnovers seen from Clinton tonight was very uncharacteristic, as we are usually much more disciplined, on both sides of the ball. They will clean that up and be ready for Princeton in two weeks.
