You referred to East Duplin on another post as very mediocre last year. That’s every year except for 2 out of the last 15. No one tripping over a pile of trophies at East Duplin
Not sure what that has to do with anything but I did a little research using other sites over the last 15 seasons since that is the time frame you used. Now keep in mind, this is just for comparison sake. You referred to East Duplin on another post as very mediocre last year. That’s every year except for 2 out of the last 15. Since 2004....Clinton has an overall record of 115-76. East Duplin has an overall record of 140-56.
Since 2004 Clinton has 5 conference championships. East Duplin has 6 conference championships.
Clinton has a state championship and two runner ups. East Duplin has a single runner up.
Since 2004, Clinton has 5 seasons of 10 or more wins. East Duplin has 6 seasons of 10 or more wins.
Now here is where it gets interesting.....head to head since 2004, Clinton and East Duplin have played 14 times including two playoff meetings (05, 06)
East Duplin has won 9 of those games (06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18), Clinton has won 5 games (2 in 05, playoff game in 06, 13, and 14).
So while no one may be tripping over trophies at East Duplin, they are just watching where they walk.
Again, just a fun little comparison using the time frame you provided. If ED has been very mediocre all those years, what does that say about Clinton?
Take your time, I can gladly compare the vaunted Clinton machine using the same time frame to the Bulldogs or James Kenan if you guys are so inclined.I'll respond in a bit, I'm busy picking these trophies up.
I thought we were talking about the ED machine?Take your time, I can gladly compare the vaunted Clinton machine using the same time frame to the Bulldogs or James Kenan if you guys are so inclined.
Only because another poster made the comment about ED being very mediocre the past 15 seasons (again, his time frame, not mine). I decided to do some digging and based on what I found if ED was very mediocre all but two seasons, they still had a lot of success in games with Clinton in other seasons.I thought we were talking about the ED machine?
No disputing that, but you were the one who brought ED into the conversation. Care to elaborate on your earlier comment about mediocrity when comparing Clinton and ED in the time frame you listed or are you just going to base it off of the state championships and not give credence to what was listed?ED not in the conversation. No Championships.
