Clinton @ Lakewood Wednesday Night Scrimmage Roll Call

Personally I like Evans best at QB. Kaba is a mis-match at WR for anyone to cover, plus it takes Knowledge off the field if Kaba is QB and knowledge can run. Just my 2 cents. Friday will give us another idea of who looks best in the offense. They both need to be on the field on offense.

34, what you think about having Knowledge play safety? He can be like Clause in the sense of your starting QB playing safety. Not a ton of hits but bring some size and speed to the back 4. Hmm...

Agreed Evans QB the JV to a conf championship in 2016 but you dont neccessary have to take Knowledge off the field he can play RB....yes i like him playing defense he actually played OLB and DB at times last season and he returned kicks/punts yes he needs to be on the field on both sides

Kaba reminds me of a old team mate of mine Brian Williams from the 2005 and 2006 teams you could line him up anywhere QB,WR,FS,CB,DE he kicked off and return punts/kick offs

I would rather see Evans at QB and Kaba wherever, as long as he’s on the field lol! I agree with Speak-in-the-mic, having both Evans and Kaba on the field will make the Offense that much more potent. The Offense sputtered a little, but as you know DH34, that is to be expected. But that front 7 is gonna be hell for opposing teams this year!

Defense is usually ahead of the offense this time of the year anyway....offense will get rolling after sime more game time reps hopefully it comes together nicely tomorrow and get ready for Cape Fear

Mic, I agree however let’s not jump the gun only after 45min of practice (lightning delays). I think them both bring a lot of skill to the field. Kaba looks like a natural defender but is to talented to not be on field both ways in some capacity. I think tomorrow will give us a better idea of who may be closer to grabbing the keys to this offense.

Btw 34, he does remind me of Brian Williams just an inch or so shorter although Brian had a cannon of an arm.

Defense looks good, but let’s try and get 1% better everyday. #coachspeak

Glad to see him out and about then

@Leopard98
Noticed you deleted your classless comment directed toward Mr. Johnson where you referred to him as a loser. Sometimes it pays to know all of the facts before resorting to name calling. He is a very highly respected former attorney who loves CHS football almost as much as his children. Unfortunately, his body is slowly deteriorating due to Parkinson's disease and he is no longer able to get out and about as he has in past years.
