I asked someone from Wallace last summer about Cruz (#10). I was told he’s ok, but he wouldn’t start at WRH. Ummm....ok.

Idk if he started last year but i know he was good enough to get playing time cause i remember seeing him on the field vs us last year wore #53 for Wallace last year

Games like these only make an old SWO fan like myself remember what the old ECC was about with E. Duplin, Clinton, SWO, and WRH use to be. It was nothing to lose this game, and beat them in the playoffs.

I jumped on NE for losing a big game last week. I would have to say WRH needed to win this game! Along with playing a monster schedule sometimes you have to win the big game too. WRH came into the season very hyped. It was realistic to think WRH would only have one loss going into the playoffs. There big games were Havelock, SWO, Wake Forest, and Clinton. They got there revenge on SWO from last year, had a good showing with Wake Forest, but have taken there losses to Havelock and now Clinton.

Can't wait to find out how the seedings fall this year. Could you imagine a WRH and Northeastern game in the second round.

Great game makes me look forward to playoffs!

Thats why i mentioned its not over for either and not being satisfied.....i think back to 97 season Clinton losing that tough game to East Duplin then coming back in the playoffs and winning the rematch......i think back to my playing days my senior year we lost to East Duplin and Northside-Jax in heartbreaking close games only to come back and beat East Duplin in the 2nd round and beat Northside in the Eastern Championship.......we also been on the opposite end of that spectrum like 79 mentioned before 1994 and most recently 2016 when we beat Northside-Jax pretty handily in the regular season only to lose a heartbreaker in the 3rd round......conference championships are nice but they dont hand out rings for it.....stay hungry stay humble in a few weeks its win or go play basketball
