I don't believe this is a done deal for Crest just yet. Shelby has a tremendous
passing game that is very hard to stop. However, I watched Crest shut down
a very lively passing team in Havelock last year. They made Havelock look
like a middle school. Wish this game was on a Saturday!

The game is 4 quarters long. You said Shelby blew it. I say Crest won it. In two years Shelby scored two Td's on Crest, one of which we fumbled in our end-zone and the other one you were down 28-0 before you scored. Shelby has a fantastic team, and I am not disrespecting it. They are a load, but to say Shelby blew it is a farce. Crest scored three TD'S gave you a TD and you scored two field goals. We spotted Shelby 13 and then we simply beat them. Shelby was the best team we played all year, and most likely it will be that way this year. Just don't stack the box for 21.................. Bad idea..
Why u play the game....one thing to remember bout last year..is we had only 2 people to stop on offense well 3. RJ..Chad Reid..and Borders....This year Camp,...Antwan. ...Borders..Da da...Truck...Fuller...Shell...all are deadly on offemse..please dont stack box on us.......We arent disrespecting Crest either ive seen them play, d is good not as good as last year Imo.....but i do belive turnovers play a roll in game this year also
My opinion, this game comes down to the new starters for each team. Both have some new guys with new roles and that will be critical and pressure with it. The QB for Shelby is very good but also will be playing the best team he has ever faced and it will be a tough daunting task going against those Burns and Crest players. He can make the critical mistake or the game winning play...guess we will see! should be another great one
I'll make you a bet. If Freedom doesn't make it to the fourth round of the playoffs, you have to stop posting on NCpreps indefinitely, if Crest actually loses to Freedom this year, I'll quit NCpreps indefinitely...Deal?
