ND vs Ledford: biggest game by far this week, will find out more about where each team stands in the conference and who may miss the playoffs this year. I'll take the Knights in a close one.

Salisbury vs Lexington: no contest. Hornets name the score against the Jackets.

OG vs WD: Grizzlies do whatever they want with the Dragons.

CD vs ED: Central keeps rolling and this one isn't close.

Tville vs South Rowan: Dogs get the win here.

Curious to see what Central can do when they play OG and Salisbury. Depending on what the top teams do against each other, Central may be able to make the playoffs with their easy schedule. Only two games to really worry about.

I think ND takes this game by 2 TD's, Led. too young this year
I agree with the rest but I think Central no match for OG and especially Salisbury, Salisbury by 3 TD's when they play.

Ledford up 17-6 solid lead so far. Thomasville-SR in a shootout 22-21 at half Dogs lead. CD solid over ED right now and the other games are a blowout already.

Ledford holds on to win IMO.

ND storming back leading 27-17. Bulldogs holding on 22-21, others are still a blowout.

Dogs have the ball 3rd and goal with 5:00 to go. Snaps are killing the Dogs and no kicking game. Hold on Dogs!

OG 48-0, CD 48-15, ND 35-24, Salisbury 51-0, Dogs appear to be holding on with 2:00 minutes 30-24.

Execution, Experience and Energy seem to be lacking early on in games and getting behind on the score board. Good win for the Dogs and just have to keep practicing and preparing. Good staff and good kids in the program. Keep prepping, practicing and getting game time.

Thats great to hear, looks like we have more players on the rosters too.

That’s because there isn‘t a jv team. About the same number as last year, maybe a couple less. It’s tough to get them out these days.

Considering the pandemic I don't blame them, this "season" is no more than one big spring scrimmage anyway. Even when we had huge numbers jv only held most of them back.

I know West and East are looking forward to getting OG, ND and Ledford (and Central now that they are winning) out of the CCC for football...
They can't compete with the other county schools. But will they do any better in the new CCC next year?

Lexington is headed downward, Thomasville still has some upward potential...
South Davidson is coming in... I guess both West and East could beat them each year.

There is just no excuse for either WD or ED to be this bad, year in and year out.

This league will feature Salisbury, Thomasville and N Rowan fighting it out for 1-2-3 and the rest can battle for 4-5-6 with SD pulling up the rear. SD needs to align a good non-conference schedule to give those kids a chance to win a few games before conference games begin. People need to remember that the former CCC prior to this alignment featured a N Rowan team that only lost one conference game in four seasons and that was to Thomasville in 2015. It was the same league except SD is now in the mix.

WD seems to be OK with losing and trying to compete here and there. ED had a little run a few seasons ago with a good group of kids and athletes but seem to be falling off again. For SD it is a numbers game. Hard to win much with 25-30 kids 9-12 on the varsity roster and hardly any winning seasons in school history. Lexington has the potential to get better and become the 4th place team leaving ED, WD and SD at the bottom of this new league.

I am sure all of these schools look forward to Ledford, North, Central and OG moving on out into their own conference. Probably see some non-conference games in about all sports though since the gates are good and it limits travel.
