CCC games rescheduled for Thursday

It would be pretty cool to say that a high school is playoff worthy in year one. That can’t happen all that often, even with the fact that most teams make it in each year.

They’d just need to wear their dark pants. Because Oak Grove is down past their 3rd string quarterback right now and have several key kids who won’t be back this season due to broken bones.
The dark pants will help conceal the 14 year olds’ terror from being pulled up to the varsity.

LoL. #7 that played QB tonight was the same QB that started game 1 that I saw
Earlier in the year. Not sure they are down to
Third string at qb. I did notice he also plays safety which he wasn’t playing to start the year.

Hate to hear that. I still believe Oak Grove will be the team to beat in a couple of years.

I wasn’t there... I got bad info on the Qb situation then. #7 isn’t their starter any more. They got a kid who transferred in mid semester from fork union military academy. He finally got in once he learned enough of the offense. Then he broke his collar bone liar week against Ledford.

#7 has some growing to do if he wants to keep that spot. There are better DBs coming along next year and quarterbacks with better arms as well.

West beats Lexington. Wow. Just wow. Happy for the kids, but what does that say about Lexington? Every year they lose a game they have no business losing, and here it is.

Salisbury was no challenge for North. Nuff said. Prissy panthers are waiting on us next week... Let's kill em.

Central loses to South Rowan. It's gotten a LITTLE better for the spartans, but they have a looooooooong way to go.

Thomasville is the third best team in the conference right now, of that i am certain. If they play Salisbury a little later in the year i think they win that game. Keep it up Bulldogs, you got some Jackets to swat. Lemme tell ya something you already know... It's fun lol.

when and how this season ends I'll still consider it a huge success,I really like the QB and he's only a sophomore,I believe Thomasville is a relatively young team,I've never been a fan of this kind of offense especially here at thomasville, but it has really evolved nicely over the course of the season,I feel good by saying we got us a coach boys...after our first drive of the game when it seemed tville was getting a flag on every play and the offense finally came of the field I seen something I haven't seen in years happen at thomasville, some coaching going on on the sideline, especially with the OL,and I loved seeing that, coach was getting after them boys pretty good,we gave one game away against Salisbury but I think we're the 3rd best team in the CCC,but give Salisbury credit they made the plays at the end, they won and we lost

Thomasville’s defense has been pretty good this year. The two obvious anomalies were North Davidson and Ledford. In the other eight games, the ‘Dogs have given up a little over six points per game, with the high being 12. Sounds like the offense is coming along. With right many coming back next year, and getting an excellent kicker back from a torn ACL, I’m already looking forward to 2019.

Thomasville has a steady, bend but don’t break defense. They also get to the ball pretty well 1-11. Definitely the third best team in that league for sure.

Hertford County, 1988. Was a new school merged of Ahoskie and Murphysboro I believe was the other school. Made it to the 2A finals that year. Was a 3A-4A sized school with over 100 player dressed for that game. Was allowed to play down due to the merger.

Ahoskie in 1970. Was integrated and the size of a 3A school playing 2A ball. Beat High Point Allen Jay 28-12 in the eastern state title game. Allen Jay had 1A numbers but played up because no other 1A teams were around. Or so says the old Allen Jay crowd now part of Southwest Guilford

I don't think this will happen but imagine Lexington beating T-Ville and Oak Grove beating Salisbury. Huge jumble after North and Ledford!!
