DO you really think your ponies would have done any better? If you do you are kidding yourself. THe players put their self in the title game.. or hey maybe your kicker missing two extra points did it for us. Or maybe it was the 30 points we scored against Clinton. Some of you clinton posters are the biggest bunch of whiny babies I have ever seen. I guess it goes along with no class.
One more thing, you may have 10 eastern regional titles. But guess which one you don't have,,,, this year's title.
Congrats to Bunn! One of the biggest crowds that I've seen at a championship game.
Yea it helps when the state championship site is in your own back yard, congrats to Bunn on a great season.
That's Bunn's motto for everything.... they have MORE than a strong football program.... pretty darn good in lots of sports and other areas... and are a GREAT community and have WONDERFUL sportsmanship.... just to enlighten outsiders...
Bunn had the biggest group of running backs I saw in all 8 classes. Save for #24, they all looked like Mike Tolbert and bigger. Talk about wide loads. Watching that #76 run the ball had me in stitches.
BTW, Monroe has an awesome team.... I think if you took the best players from Bunn's team, Clinton's team, and every other team I've seen in the playoffs, Monroe would still blow that team out!! They ARE the real deal!! Good luck to all schools!!
Sour grapes make the best whine, and apparently Clinton is a good region. If you were that much better than Bunn, the game wouldn't come down to a ref's mistake or misinterpretation.
One thing I can say about Bunn, they can take losing a lot better than Clinton fans, and take it with some pride and grace. You want to win? Prove it on the field. Refs are human and make human mistakes- you would do worse than those refs in a similar situation.
By the performance of both teams, neither would have could have held Monroe's jock. All Bunn did was BEAT Clinton and save them from embarrassment the following week.
Complain about one game now Clinton posters are whiny.....how about the Northeastern poster that flipped out over the playoff lost to Kinston......year but we are the only ones that complain smh
That is one person. New guy at that and probably a pissed off parent. We understand Clinton is good. Coach Lewis is one heck of a coach and has done a tremendous job there, but come on. If you were better than Bunn you would have beaten them. I'm sure Clinton will be making some noise as usual come next November/December
#1...To compare my 24 hours of miscontent to your TWO weeks (and counting)of whining is crazy! I get that you are upset, I for one understand...but after a day or so life moved on for me....you and some of your buddies haven't learned that yet. So don't include me in your complaint department, because I could say ALOT about the moderators even allowing this whole "Clinton/Bunn" to continue...but hey, I'm just a poster like you.
#2...I'm not a new poster, just never posted anything on the football thread...ask Fbref...we went at it YEARS ago in the basketball forums.
