Bishop Boys Basketball Being Featured On ESPN

Regardless of everyone's thoughts on Bishop playing in 1A, this is pretty cool.

The boys basketball team will be the subject of an episode of ESPN's "E:60" documentary series next Saturday that will debut during an episode of Sportscenter.

The piece is about their PG Spencer Wilson and the events surrounding that crazy halfcourt shot he made to beat Mount Airy last January.

Was he the kid that beat cancer?

he beat cancer twice, the second time with odds less than 10%,,,it was the "dedication game" in memory of his close friend, Josh Rominger, who died from cancer. He hit a 3 at the buzzer to send the game into overtime and then hit a 3/4 court shot at the buzzer in overtime to win it. Videos on youtube.
