For 9 straight years there has been no doubt in who might win the NCHSAA 1A girls state championship. This year, with Bishop a 22 seed, and playing an Atkins team that has beat them this year already; it seems like that run will come to a halt when these girls tip off at 1PM. Bishop has one of the weaker teams in recent memory, and Atkins has been improving over the years. Unless I see something that Bishop hasn't shown yet, it looks like the streak ends today.
