Thanks man. We take all the help we can get😁I've always had a sentimental spot for East Duplin because of their town's name, Beulaville. That was my Mother's name, course, it was Beulah, not Beulaville. Go Panthers !

Do they do a bunch of Brunswick Stew also? If it is, they use that church as an example in foodborne outbreak classes because their equipment for the stew was messed up one year and they sold stew that never actually got cooked. They got it sorted out and it should be ok now.I know there is a church down the rd that serve barbecue twice a year. One in March and the other in October. Next Saturday they will be having it. Using hickory wood and putting it in tinfoil. That barbecue is delicious. Of course this in Rowan Co.
They do it in the fall of the year but they call it something else. I know the bbq is real good eating. I’m looking forward to when they have it this Saturday 12th. The church name Unity United Methodist church off on Unity church rd in Rowan Co. Usually start around 10 am-until. Sometimes they do run out. Also I will add. I sell good desserts. Cakes, pies, cookies and such.Do they do a bunch of Brunswick Stew also? My father in law use to go there every Saturday for BBQ. I go to Bums in Ayden when I get over that way. Bum married my Mom's 1 st cousin so I always went to see them. Bum has dementia bad now. My wife and I went to the skylight Inn a few weeks ago. Still great BBQ. His son has one in Winterville. Sam Jones BBQ. It's good too.Anyone ever tried Skylight Inn in Ayden?
