Shelby is going to be hard to beat, again, this summer. Hope Post 100 can stay with them. I saw where Cherryville beat Post 82 last Tuesday, by a score of 9-8 in extra innings. Wondered if Shelby pitched C. Putnam, but I doubt if anyone around here would score nine runs off of him.

The elimination rounds beginning after the first of next month should be interesting...From what I could find, Post 100 doesn't play again until next Wednesday against Caldwell County. That's a bit of a layoff. Hope they don't go cold. Maybe they'll have a makeup game between now and then.
