Well after being baptized last night by East Duplin we get a nice long Bus ride up to Kill Devil Hills to take on First Flight.....I know absolutely nothing about Nighthawks they are members of the NCC which in the past has produced some overrated teams if you simply go off their record...For Clinton we are coming off a bad loss and we are pretty banged up thats a long bus ride...put the schools address in my phone and shows a 3hr + ride from Clinton and i live right down the street from the fieldhouse.....so what you guys think...i think we find a way to go in there and win a close game.....unfortunately the prize will be another long bus ride the following week unless Northeastern is upset which i highly doubt....any predictions discussions?....any NCC posters have any info on the Nighthawks feel free to chime in

Trust me i wouldnt make the statement if i didnt have a really good reason Clinton will be loaded barring some type of injury to a key player very good chance team is built similar to the NS Jax team that won state last year in 2A long and athletic.....but its still football season so back to the game this Friday

Pathetic! Having to go that far! Almost 4 hours! Should have lost to Goldsboro...not a bad ride to SWO. And JK going to East Bladen? Ridiculous! We really should have lost a couple more games or if we could have gotten some calls at WRH we'd be at home Friday! Would love a rematch Thanksgiving Friday. That's a real long shot I know! Just saying...

Yes majority of the team is still juniors and sophomores correct...21>16.....out of those 16 only 13 actually really play...so lots of juniors and sophomores out there aswell

Survive and advance. One game at a time. Just as we are a disappointed we have to travel so far Friday night, I'm sure FF is disappointed they got CLINTON for their first round game. Be tough be a horse, let's go.

I'm no expert on football, I just love to watch on Friday nights. What I can tell you is that they have to key players #1 & #11. Darden is the name of one of them and they can play. What they lack in size they make up for with heart. They mix it up, both passing and running, and their fg kicker is good. They may not win, but those kids will give it everything they got. They earned a lot of respect from me when they came to Elizabeth City and played Northeastern.

Yes their qb Braxton is pretty good, he's not big but he's extremely athletic. He will definitely fool you, the kid has some moves on him

Clinton does well defending the pass for the most part hopefully one of our DB's Mclellan who was injured in the Wallace game sat out vs ED will be full go for Friday.....our safety Williams is one of the best at defending the pass 12 ints last season I believe he has 3 or 4 this year partly due to limited time playing defense cause he is also our QB...DB Trey Warren has done a good job on pass defense aswell

Clinton will need too or atleast should get Smith involved early.....He didn't get a carry on the first drive against ED last week??? not that it would of made a difference but how does your best runner not touch the ball on the first drive.....once he gets a few good runs up the middle and the defense starts to key on him that's when the rest of the offense starts to flow and opens up the play action pass

man i feel for you guys. you finished 3rd in the conference and still have to travel way farther than Goldsboro or James Kenan. it really makes no sense.

Clinton soccer lost a tough one to First Flight in OT 3-1...Brad Spell has done a great job with that program they will get over that hump one day....alot of strong programs out here in the East
