Had a feeling Forest Hills would be a larger 4A or a smaller 5A. We've gained a few students from last year (922-963) but they're expecting even more future growth on that end of the fairly new By-Pass. The new high school under construction was planned for it. Plus redistricting is planned also.

SP is a Junior team this year. Next year should be very, very good.

There are a couple teams in here that are going to get their feelings hurt bad. Saint Pauls is currently playing 2A football with those numbers and they are the 9th biggest 5A school listed. This is not going to go well for the bull doggies out in Robeson County. Also Monroe is finally going back into the A size they belong in as they have been masquerading around as a 2A team for the last four years.

Though Uwharrie doesn’t play football, they are currently 1A with 875 students.

You must know nothing about ST. Pauls, they are on the verge of being an elite team. They are young, big, athletic and well coached. And I heard they are building an indoor facility down there. Remember this conversation for future references lol.

Wasn't that many years ago they were a 1A school. "Supposedly" some redistricting is suppose to occur and those numbers will change. The new FH High School under construction is "rumored" to be getting some students from Monroe and Piedmont areas to alleviate over crowding at those schools but you never know with Union County. Parkwood High is also about to get a new High School during all of this.

Only problem I'd have with that is Mitchell and Avery would be left high and dry probably would have to form a conference with Allegheny and the Wilkes schools

Couldn't say but Starmount and the Wilkes schools would probably be as long or longer probably wouldn't be a great situation for Mitchell or Avery
