I agree. We better take them seriously and not look ahead. I watched the mdn hayesville/swain game and hayesville outplayed them for most of the game. Only after a couple key injuries to hayesville players was swain able to gain the upper hand. If those kids are back we will have our hands full if we show up half cocked.
#3 for Hayesville is probably out for the year. #20 didn't play last night but was a game time decision. Hopefully will play next week. Everyone else was back.
Hayesvilles D played great last night despite having 2 starters on the sidelines. Really had some kids step up and do great!
I haven't seen Hayesville play yet but they seem pretty solid. If they can tackle #4 and #2 they will have a shot.
Hard to tell. Robbinsville is very good. The last couple of weeks the Jacket's passing game has shown signs of life. If they keep getting better that would help.
Best defense Hayesville has had in a while should be a good game
Williams was our leading rusher against Andrews. Averaged over 20 yac.

Just 2 as I posted above. 3 reinjured an old back problem and ,,20 is day to day.
Hayesville has the best Defense that Swain has seen all season and was matching Swain hit by hit which say a lot about their D. If Hayesville mixed in more of the passing game with the run I seeing it being a close games but Robbinsville will wear them down by the 4th quarter.

I agree 100% and think that will be the difference in the next two games. Swain's run d is solid but their pass d may be the chink in their armor.
It very well may be so.
I think the Tuscola/Smoky game helped Swain realize how vulnerable they are to the pass but they haven't been very impressive against the pass since imo. Murphy had some pass game working but Swain's D line + some key blitzes helped stymie it more than any actual coverage, if a QB is given time to sit in the pocket i'd bet they would have some success as it stands right now against Swain.
The only game Hayesville threw for 100+ yards was against Swain (168).
In all honesty, the biggest effect for Hayesville from the Swain game was an increased confidence in their passing attack.
Huh.. I guess it depends on which app you look at. Being a meteorologist is the only job you can not get fired for lying everyday at your job lol.
Wonder if we could get some playoff games on Grandfather Mountain? I mean our Bears would probably like that and adapt well!!
