I don't believe the east is as strong as the west this year, maybe I'm wrong, but seems like the west is loaded.
Are they encouraging teams to schedule tougher games with the formula? Weddington got rewarded with a 1 seed despite losing twice.
That's my point. With the state being so lopsided. A team like Grimsley (6) that scheduled and won against Rolesville (1). Should be in a better position then the team that they beat on the field.
Go back to MaxPreps. Include Margin of Victory with a cap on it. Maybe 21 points. Once you are up by 21 it does not reward you additionally if you win by more. They completely took it out when it was used before.
East could win the title, especially if the west representative is beat to hell from playing elite team after elite team for several weeks.
This certainly played a role for Grimsley last year. Western title run was brutal.
Plus New Bern had issues🤪
Nope, but all they had to do is beat a team that didn’t throw once😂. I’m just replying, man!
You guys were the best we faced last year in speed and physicality, no doubt. We had played four close, physical wars against Indy, Catholic, Weddington and Hough before facing you guys. It was a tight game.
