If you are traveling out west to watch a game Crest v Shelby would be #1 on my list of games to watch !!! It’s always FIRE and this upcoming year will be extra fire !!!!!! Most all Cleveland co. games are good but the Crest v Shelby games are just different
After the dust settles Reidsville will have a top flight facility you can come check out

Yes! Crest did a number on us, even got the next big thing in the county out of Shelby Middle School, a kid who will possibly not even play a down of JV football. It all literally had me numb recently.
I’ll take the blue devils as my sleepers!

Brevard lost at Salisbury in the 1st round last fall…28-16…that’s impressive in my opinion. Brevard didn’t lose much….especially defensively…. I see them giving their conference a fit this fall. 😉

Good dual threat. Saw him play a few games last year.
CSD, probably not a good gage. They barely beat us (20-14) in the 1st round last year. Burns and Shelby would have probably beat them by 4-5 TDs.
True. But what I am getting at, is I don't see Bunker Hill being a favorite. CSD should be, if people think Bunker Hill is.
He played qb because Farmer was out. Really good athlete.
What do they have returning from last year's team? A "bad" Shelby team beat them beat them down.
Forest Hills was without their STUD starting QB that game. I don't believe Shelby wins if he played.

Well, did the quarterback play defense, too? They got 30 dropped on their heads, and yes, I am aware that a quarterback affects possessions, but I also know we would have likely scored even more with said receiver who was also great in the return game. And, it’s not like their backup quarterback was chopped liver. He was their starter till that kid transferred in from my understanding. FH just wasn’t as good as many people thought, period.
All things being equal I thought the game was a tossup going in.

FH D was also without 2 starters. If Hibbard is in the game, FH D wouldn’t have worn down in the 2nd half. Was a close game at half. Neither here nor there, because both teams were blown out to exit. Best of luck to both squads this season!
