Pay no attention to rumors. Every year, it’s the same old thing, “such and such may be coming or leaving”. Shelby’s quarterback will be a rising sophomore. From what I have heard, he’s already putting in some major work. Goes about 6’2/6’3” and he’s a gun slinger. Not very fleet of foot, though. Think Bess from a few years ago. They have high expectations of him, talk as if he’s going to be special.
Heard the same about him going to crest last year...rumors will roll tho.
Yes, Farmer will be the Golden Lion’s quarterback. I won’t pretend to be in the know like Shelbyfan1, SHS LION, or Shelby Lion, but this I do know. I haven’t even seen the kid play before, but was told by a coach that he has a bright future.
I think I saw that QB last night at Crest he looked good if that was him.
Is the Farmer kid related to the Londons? And doesn't he have roots tied to Shelby?
What hurt Farmer last year was he was injured during the JV season and only played the last game against Burns. With that early schedule the will take some bumps but hopefully will learn along the way. Big kid for sure.
Honestly, bro, Dax and the class of 2018 was the last group of Lions that I knew on a personal level. However, Shelby does have a rising senior quarterback who is a London, and obviously related to the Londons’. Idk what he brings to the table, though. He played so little last year.
Come on. Until they play some defense they're not going anywhere. Good lord yeah they put up a bunch of points on an average Starmount defense but they also gave up what 60 something points against them. They might should have beat Bunker Hill with that probably says something about Bunker hills level of play then how good community school of Davidson is. Quit drinking the woke Kool-Aid. Listen, I agree with you. All I was saying, is if everyone thinks BH will be good, CSD gave them a run and return basically everyone.
I was at that game. CSD was the better team. If it were dry it would have been no contest...BH was out coached 3 out of 4 quarters. BH figures out their defense they'll make a run.
Agree completely with this list of 12 teams. Pretty much the same as last year with maybe some slight redistribution of the wealth among the twelve. Reidsville would seem to be the favorite to come out of the west again, with Burns, Monroe, and Shelby the top challengers.
Need to make a trip to Burns for the entrance of the team. One of, if not the best around.

That is really cool. Running down the hill to the fireworks, helmet, etc is awesome. I didn't listen, because I'm at work but i'm sure whatever song they used, it fit and is cool too.
The old stadium was a great atmosphere.
Yeah nothing beats the atmosphere of the old stadium where the fans are right on top of the field and the players. But even with new stadium one of the best entrances
