2A SWO @ 3A Jacksonville

The lights get turned on Friday night for the first game in 2018. Cross town rivals Jacksonville ranked #7 to start the season. Big, Fast and more of em than us. Already talk about them going to the title game this year. #18 ranked SWO in 2A coming off an eastern division showing in 2917 in just their 3rd year of rebuilding under new coach. The Stallions have made steady progress after posting a losing season in 2016, the first one in a long, long, time. Last years game sent SWO to the glue factory 30-0.

If things are going to be any different the 17th, Stallions will have to score more than 0. Have not heard or seen anything about this team so far. High hopes as always for SWO. What ever the outcome I have no doubt that they will do ok in conference and playoffs.

Should see more from Stallions then last year. However this bunch at Jacksonville can be something special.Stallions will be fine the entire season and will make a deep playoff run
 
Jacksonville something special haha wow that's funny. When has Jacksonville ever been special?? The over rated hype machine is out in full force. You played Kinston and Camp Lejeune and up here bragging. Come on please win a few titles or even make it to the state game or eastern finals. Then maybe people might take jville serious.

Lmao!!! So wait where were all you SWO posters at the past couple of years? So y’all are only fair weather fans I see. Line to much.. SMH. Yes just like they have been the past what 3 years. All those fat kids you got on the line will be done by middle of the second QT. Cards turn it into a track meet and you know that you cannot run with them. Keep talking and it will same result for you clowns.

They know that it’s going to be rough sledding for them to beat Jacksonville. But lastninja has to make himself feel good by talking crap. Is SWO improved from last year? For certain they will most likely run roughshot over their conference. Although Richlands will be interesting this year. But will they Beat ED, Jacksonville, WRH? Highly unlikely. They know it also.

Richland hasn't beat SWO in 34 years. Won't happen this year, but wishful thinking. I've been on these boards for longer then you have been watching JHS football. But keep beating your chest about beating Kinston and Camp Lejeune. JHS has never been a powerhouse and never will be promise you that. Last year was your beat team and CHOKED huge in the playoffs. JHS just started making the playoffs buddy. SWO one losing season in years. You must not have been at the game last year. Our young coach was running the spread and that is not SWO football, two fumbles deep in our own territory and snap over the punters head. But carry on about JHS Powerhouse you say you have over there please. Our rings will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

You jumping on the big boys, if SWO was in ECC, probly end up .500 at best

My friend. WRH and SWO would be top two in the conference. When we used to be in the ECC we won three titles. Maybe you have forgotten LoL ED is a powerhouse just never showed up in big games.

Been there, done that. 4 trips to state and 3 titles out of the ECC. And during our tour of the conference ran about an .800.

You have had a good 4 years. But like us it will come to an end like ours did. Good luck this year and our paths will cross again.

I wish NHS was in a better conference. I wonder how they'd fare in the ECC? I am jealous that you guys get to go up against good competition week after week. I dont really blame most of yall for overlooking Northeastern, I probably would to if the shoe was on the other foot.

Only 3 teams that normally provide good competition. But with our non-conference schedule, we're usually playoff ready. Looking forward to seeing you guys again

If we're fortunate enough to run into you guys in the playoffs, it will be at the dogpound. I'll learn a lot this Friday night when we play at DH Conley.

It really does, couple that with the loss of 4* athlete Jr Walker and now we really have our backs against the wall. Im curious to see how our team responds to this adversity. Sometimes when things like this happen it can have a reverse effect and make a team better. Enough about NHS, I'm curious to see how SWO fares against J'ville. I will be looking for updates up here Friday night.

Why do you keep referring to thelastninja he is in this thread or hasn't been on these boards in days. Please explain when JHS won a state title or conference title or eastern championship? And please don't talk about the 70s and 80s when your grandpa was playing. You beat up on Camp Lejeune and Big Bad Kinston and think your world beaters. Did you even play football? If you did you would respect SWO as a NC powerhouse program

Lol.. because everyone knows that dlee has multiple screen names. Anyways yes I did play football. You keep trying to bring up Kinston and Lejeune. I made a comment about how we looked in a scrimmage and you clowns try and run with that saying someone is beating their chest. Smh.. you just better worry about Friday night. See what’s coming to you. Why don’t you go check some of the other threads and see how Jacksonville did against the defending 3 AA champs New Hanover in scrimmage and Scotland County. Those two sorry programs.. lol. Then you tell me how bad you think your Stallions will beat the Cards. Lol Again where have you guys been the the past couple of years? It was crickets on here as far as SWO fans. Now all of a sudden y’all coming out of the woodworks with all these bold predictions. WRH, ED, Jacksonville. I will tell you right now if y’all get the hat trick SWO will easily win a ring this year. Like I said before the only time that I do not cheer for the Stallions is the night you play Jacksonville.

Posturing on the forum spreading it thick. Forums for the top row fans, under the lights for teams to bring their predictions to life. Make some gurus and others BS artists. Friday night the players enter the discussion. Is Jacksonville good ....YES. Is SWO pretty fair, think so. Will this pre-season 48 minutes determine the fate of either team in November .....didnt last year and wont this one. Sit back and enjoy, its a long ride for both of us.

Day before the start of the season and NO INFO on SWO. The JDN hasnt had a word about them. No real info from posters on how they look so far. Hope we arnt in a MEDIA BLACKOUT ;......has anyone been to practice or any 7 on 7 or the Jacksonville Jamboree ?? Guess all will be revealed tomorrow night. Maybe we have been in the secure compound with Clinton ..... :rolleyes: Hope Billy and Melvin are allowed to call formations and plays.

JHS looked okay against New Hanover who are down this year, that SC school isn't all that check out them on SCmaxp, the onslow jamboree you draw for team no starting varsity played Lejeune but Jax did what they were suppose to do against kinston but SWO returns alot from last year they are going to be real tough this year.

Once again a poster who gets on here and has no clue what they are talking about just trying to hype their team. Now anyone who knows anything about high school football here in NC will never say Scotland county is not all that. Lol As for the defending champs in New Hanover they lost some but return allot including their all everything QB. Now for real I hope Jacksonville beats the ever living hell out of SWO just to give their delusional fans a reality check. They can’t stand to see any other school in the county have success without bashing them in some sort of way. If you notice everyone else supports SWO in Onslow County except the night that they play them. You never hear their posters with anything positive about anyone else. Smh
