West Wilkes has been on a roll since last year. They defeated West Lincoln 8-1. 1st time being scored on since back in April 26 when they played AC Reynolds. They are 21-3 now.

Last night East Rowan defeated Kings Mountain 1-0. Last year Kings Mountain defeated East Rowan in the 3rd rd 1-0. Next game up will be huge as East Rowan will take on a good Crest team. That would be a good game to see.

Wouldn’t you know 3rd rd action huge game coming up, Alexander Central will take on South Caldwell on 4/13. They already played 3 times with AC winning 2 out of 3 times in a close one. I look for this one to be another dog fight. Also look for massive turnout of fans in this one.
Another huge matchup coming up on 4/13 East Rowan will take on Crest in 3A. This also will be a dynamite game. Lot of good ballgames out this week.

Fair question. Unfortunately it’s also one that can’t be answered correctly. This is why I’m a big fan of the new format! I was asked at the game by a neutral observer, was this the series to go to state? No way two teams that good should be playing that early in the current format…

Rockingham Co is 3A so they won't get to play them. They have a really good Jr pitcher that's being recruited by UNC. They have Oak Grove next with their Arizona St commit pitcher. Should be a good one.

It’s nice to see, but you kinda just proved my point. Unfortunately, and I hope I’m wrong, I don’t see any advancement today. Maybe Robbinsville’s youth played a part last week, as we start only 1 senior and mostly freshman and sophomore’s, so it will be interesting to see the Swain score with S Stokes.
