Final TC Roberson defeats Cuthbertson 13-3 to advance to 4A State Championship game. Congratulations to TC Roberson

Heck of a bounce back by TCR after getting hammered in game one. That loss seemed to have gotten the sleeping giant awake and angry. It will be very tough for Laney to take the state crown from them. East Rutherford also looks like they are well on their way to a state title. Hard to see Midway or S. Lenoir defeating them two times.

I’ve seen ER a few times now in the playoffs. Going to be very tough to beat East Rutherford 2 out of 3. Very deep roster. No easy outs in the lineup. They could flip the lineup in reverse and hit 9-1 and wouldn’t be much of a difference. Team has a lot of speed and plays great defense. Coach Reynolds has done a great job with this group.

Damn! I’d forgotten that he died relatively young. RIP Catfish, you were a giant of my youth.
I believe Perquimans also has a chance to win both 1A baseball and softball.
