Randolph County and Rowan County are playing two games this weekend Area III Championship Friday 7:00 @ Rowan County Exhibition in preparation for the state tournament Saturday 3:00 @ Randolph County

Tough way to end a season. Curious to know more about this (if the details ever come out).

Not that this could be karma - but I know ER tried to pull something like this against High Point (back in 2016-2018, I believe - somewhere in there). Tried to say that a player was "illegal", but it turns out he wasn't after all.

Truthfully I wasn’t around senior program then but I don’t doubt what you are saying.

The original poster who talked about Asheboro being Asheboro hit much closer to home. For years that legion program has looked at everything ER under a microscope. Now I personally like to beat teams with homegrown talent (or lose with same). That’s why when I coached juniors they were 90% ER/PG boys.

The family I mentioned above was often behind any protest against ER. And occasionally “made up” a few just to look for an advantage…

Randolph 7, Rowan 4 in this afternoon's Legion game in Asheboro. A lot of pitchers got some work in for Rowan. Jackson Deal and Luke Graham had 2 hits.
