2022/2023 2A Boys Basketball Thread

Rams now 13-0 while averaging 85 points a game. Closest game so far is 75-60 win over Walkertown. At 11-4, Morehead has the best record of the teams Reidsville has faced so far. Tougher tests upcoming.
High Point Andrews gave Rams a good fight (47-42) for a half ... Raiders are 10-6 with a formidable non-conference schedule - losses to Greensboro Smith (16-3), East Forsyth (13-4) and Piedmont Classical (25-4).

Yea, but NS, SC and those teams play No one...that something to do with it. I'm not saying they aren't good, NS is always solid, but go play someone in nonconference to get a reality check. Same thing with Maiden and East Gaston. The toughest game Maiden has played is a very below average North Lincoln team that plays hard. At least West Caldwell has ventured out and played some tougher teams.

How does beating South Stokes twice, beating East Forsyth in the Frank Spencer semis and then losing to Mt. Tabor by 4 in the final go for "playing somebody"? Hounds return all 5 starters from last year's final four team so their ranking is legit.

SW Randolph defeats Randleman at the roundabouts tonight. Final was 63-54. Cougars played a great, great game. Sean Adkins defense was outstanding.

With this win, the Cougs remain two games back of ER. Cougs host ER next Tuesday. Should be interesting.

Reidsville now 14-0 after 88-63 win over Walkertown tonight (1-27-23). Walkertown actually led 20-18 after first quarter and it was a 7-point Rams lead at halftime.

Im assuming most Reidsville fans know of the serious car accident that involved 3 Rams basketball players Wed. afternoon//2 were seriously hurt with 1 being airlifted to Winston (I think) and the other not badly hurt but did not play Wed. nite in the win over North Forsyth........God put his healing hand on these young men...........................

Reidsville makes it 16-0 with great second half tonight. After trailing at half, the Rams rallied for a 60-43 win at West Stokes. Baggett hit 6 three-pointers on his way to 24 points to lead the way. Neal added 22 points.
