YEP! Time just never stops, and we are almost there.
All of us armchair quarterbacks and coaches are ready to see the air raids get started, the ground attacks begin, and the kicking team balls flying.

One of the exciting things about this coming season, as in the past, is that whoever is on "top" at the beginning, may not be at the end. Life can be eternal for some teams.

Shelby fans always thinks that they are always #1. All Classifications. And maybe they are.
Reidsville fans will tell you very quickly that their community is Championship Central. And they may really have a valid claim.

Maiden fans might claim they are the most snake bitten team in the state, ever. And I doubt it. (Maiden is tough and almost always has been.)
Mt Airy starts where it always starts: one of the most detested teams in the state. Lot of Jealousy.

And every Mecklenburg team thinks it's poop does not stink. Yea, right.
And Eastern Randolph starts as the most unknown and quietest powerhouse in the state. Always plays above its weight.

The mountain schools will tell you in short order that their band of football is just different than any other. Maybe it is, maybe not.

The great thing is: Everyone starts this season UNDEFEATED.
Unfortunately, half of the teams in the state will be disappointed after their first game.

Can not wait for the season to begin. Let the games begin.

Oh, by the way: Does Shelby understand they and Eastern Randolph, Mt Airy, Walkertown, East Rutherfordton and Northeastern are in the same classification this year?

Shelby and Reidsville believe they are in a classification all by themselves 🤣🤣

Just remember first draft had Shelby 4A and Reidsville 3A, then together, then Que Tucker swoopes in and says NAH EH in her Stone Cold voice and Shelby goes 3A and Reidsville goes 4A
Nchsaa really screwed up lol. The gates and hype from numerous Shelby vs Reidsville state championship games. They had a leprechaun and let it escape 🤣🤣

It’s FOOTBALL SEASON, baby! The energy is crazier than a cow in a corn maze! High school football is like playing roulette with nacho cheese.....anything goes! You’ve seen those tiny teams showing up like ....Surprise, we just tackled your dreams! Talent and teamwork be like, 'Rankings? Who needs them when we’ve got heart?! Shelby fans definitely have a strong belief in their team’s superiority, and their history of success backs that confidence. On the other hand, Reidsville’s claim to be “Championship Central” stems from their consistent performance over the years, making them a team to watch.
