#2 Lincolnton 42 - #5 East Lincoln 35 - FINAL

I know the details of what happened with Surratt. I know that if a slew of talented transfers happened to move into my district... I'd accept them. I believe just about all of you out there would as well. I think Lincolnton is taking too much heat over this and I'm an East Lincoln guy. I can't stand Lincolnton but...we lost.

GDG I understand what you are saying but this is just a part of the game. It sucks for the kids that get pushed aside but maybe it also has a lesson in itself. A lot of children these days are taught that they are mister or miss special and many times there are going to be people who are just better than you at certain things. Everyone has to learn at some point to deal with that.

Now. There you go. I understand this post and point of view. And I can't stand East Lincoln, but I appreciate Elincon's candor, when he coulda just piled on the transfer hate fest, as he has skin in the game...unlike other posters who have shown unusual interest.

Shout out to Pat, Z and TD...three recent transfers who came in late, played their butts off and got scholarships for their trouble. #alwayswolves

GO WOLVES

Same GDG. Overly protective of those who get stepped on. Kudos to Zukes kid and McClain who stayed the course and all those other players.

Wow, this blew up, Lincolnton is a very good football team, heck of a game, so many situations and plays brought both teams a lot of highs and then lows as well as fans. So many what ifs in this game for both teams, an absolute classic. Lincolnton coaches slept great that night, and the EL coaches had so many what ifs running through their heads. Sage had a night and made a lot of huge plays everyone in the stadium knew where the ball was going anytime it was a do or die situation and he continued to make the plays, Littlejohn who I think is an absolute great QB (best one since OC Gibson at Lincolnton, who I by the way think has a bright future in coaching, a struggling program would be smart too look his way) had a night, the o line for Lincolnton best they have played all year. East showed a ton of heart, and man put some great hits on ball carriers, the SO QB Graham came into his own, and the WR's did not mope but blocked their butts off, EL knew the way to win this game was on the ground and OLine stepped up in a big way. Maybe just maybe Lincolnton will go big and can see this thing played again. Not sure either side is ready for that quite yet and both teams have a lot of growth in front of them.
Always on a side note, man I made my comments but never not once did I make a negative comment about Lincolnton or the young men if I did quote it and I will apologize, nor have I ever on these boards, I love these boards and love to hear the insight from people, I don't mind ruffling feathers a little but all in good fun. I have too much respect for what everyone goes through as a fan, coach and player of high school sports programs.
Both teams need to remember before patting themselves on the back that West Caldwell, Maiden and Newton are still lurking. I'm out, good luck.

You're right CM3, our offensive line did play their best game to date. Thanks for giving them some credit. Thanks to those guys Cordell had one of his best games too. And Marcus Graham is gonna be fun to watch the next two and a half years. You guys have a good one. Saw several sophomore playmakers on you guys' roster. Scary.

"Everyone gets transfers in, I think people are voicing out because you have 3 kids in close vicinity that decide to do it their senior year, and are not just football players they are difference makers, doesn't matter to me, travel ball, club ball, travel 7 on 7 whatever you want to call it is changing high school sports, it is what it is, just fishy to most, but hey more power to you, hope it works out, I said this before and I will say it again, be careful of what you ask for, isn't always what's best for the entire program. "

Dang, cm3. You came in late with that. And from a separate thread no less. You really don't think that you calling our " 3 transfers" "FISHY to most" is on the negative side, cm3? "Difference makers, hope it works out, more power to you, be careful what you ask for"? Passive aggressive innuendo...sort of like your Head man calling our team an "all star team " that shoulda beat you by 30...

You got GDG worked into a babbling lather. Lol.

I don't think you are a negative poster, and I do respect your insight.
I do think you are throwing shade with those comments.
I do wish to move on...shall we?

OK....bottom line to it all...Transfers happen...people have their opinions...you play the great game we all love...there's a winner and a loser...then you move on...I love most of these "ADULT" hissy fit posts...lol...best of luck to all for the rest of the season....

And who knows the Wolves may have him to watch next year or even better maybe later this year.

I see where you are coming from, well then I will apologize, good luck

And if so, we'll gladly accept him and find a spot on the field for him. Not gonna deny a kid just because he moves into your district, right Shelby? Good thing you guys gave George, Camp, Borders, Fuller, etc. a chance to play.

Not quite, HitmanT. You should have read instead of skimmed.
I said you are a boorish blowhard who has proven he doesn't know what he is talking about. I just read some of your other drivel, and have concluded that it is a way of life for you on these boards.

And your analysis of my post, I submit, proves that. Thanks!

I'm not an expert on football, so I'm not offended at football analysis. The Wolves have a number of areas where they can improve besides run defense. If and when they do, they will be a team that could go far.

If we play this year it will be Shelby with 0 xfers vs Lincolnton with who knows how many. Maybe you can pick up a couple for the playoffs?

So if they transferred in last year or the year before they don't count??
Do you know of someone starting for Shelby that transferred in? I don't have a problem with transfers if it's a legitimate reason but when it's done because your team can't get over the proverbial hump(Shelby, E Lincoln) then I think its pretty weak.

Aw, geez. You again?

Spit it out, Hman. What exactly are you accusing us of? Recruiting? Illegal transfers? Shelby envy?

And why do you care so much, when your Lions have their best team ever? We prolly won't even play you this year, yet you are transfixed on chasing ghosts on a dead thread! Pick a transfer, any transfer. Show me facts (or heck, even a good theory) indicating just exactly how we got them to move to Lincolnton, to get over some hump? Don't you tire of speaking of things you know nothing about??

Sorry, that last question was rhetorical... But please do answer the others, as I am dying to know what you know about the subject that I don't. I look forward to more brilliant statements from you like the rest of the ones you've made on this thread. Believe it or not, Sheby isn't on our radar...yet. Soon enough, if enrollment figures change.

What'll it be, bruh?

Careful SHS Lion. Comments like that will only enrage Lion Attack. Hate to see an inner school war over there.

Not anywhere close to our best team ever.I mean no where near.

Whatchu talkin' bout, Willis? I agree with SHS LION, but that guy was being sarcastic when he posted that, at least that's how I took it.

Sorry to dig this thread back up. I was wondering if CM3 or any other East Lincoln poster could give me an injury report? #84 and #27 were hurt last I checked. Didn't get out to the Bunker Hill game. Thanks.

Do you need some tissue? All we have heard is you crying. Are you losing sleep also?
Maybe you should you get the facts and know what you are talking about before running your mouth.
