#13 Forest Hills at #4 Randleman

Rematch of last year’s second round matchup. Any thoughts?
As much as I dislike going there, Roundabout High does put on quite the show if you haven’t seen a football game there. I know it’s a rematch but honestly don’t remember where it was played.
As far as the game, unfortunately Roundabout has a pretty good team. Fine WRs and a QB who can get it to them.
And no I don’t know how they lost to Trinity. According to 1A forum that means any wins they have had suspect and any team that has beaten them not really that good…
Wait that would be just two teams so…🤷‍♂️

FH played away at Roundabout High last year winning 35-14. Ever since FH quit the rotating QBs due to an injury to one of the QBs the team has become more consistent. The current QB Zach Dilworth (6'3 205) transfer from Piedmont has been lighting it up. Friday against Lexington he was 23/29 304 yards, 3TDs. If the passing game doesn't work we have 3 great RBs. So we seem to be peaking at the right time. Still not as good as last year's FH team but not a major drop off.

Also I didn't understand the "Roundabout High" joke until I got up there last year. Who was genius behind that traffic pattern? That would be a great place to shut the town down and have some racing. Especially drift car racing. 😆 🤣 😂

The roundabouts made me turn on my GPS just to get through them.

As far as the game, Randleman can be had. #1 is a good WR, but word is that if you get in his head or if he doesn’t get catches early, he’ll shut down. I envision Cam Winnegan on him. We’re gong to move the ball. And you’re right, sticking with Dillworth has allowed him to settle in and become a really good QB in this system.

Game will come down to the lines.

And yet…
They played ER to a one point game…
Depends on which Roundabout team shows up…
This reminds me of how Anson County plays FH. We've been rivals for many many years. They can suck but play us like they're trying to win the Super Bowl then the next week struggle against a bad team. Actually happened last season. Last year they weren't very good but we had to block a field goal in the last second just to win the last game of the season. Following week we had them again in the first round of the playoffs and we were ready for them and it wasn't close.

Tigers are pretty much the same team from last year. Minus their good middle linebacker. I think Forest Hills has their number. IF they get through all of those roundabouts, that is.....
Keep turning right is the key…
Ok truth be told I spent better part of one Friday night just going round and round and round…

I will say that would make for one fun footrace. All three roundabouts and back. Especially when intoxicated. And then, you'd have the Waffle House right there at the finish.

I hope so. We lost our QB from the last two years but our QB who stepped in mid season has been putting up great numbers so will see.
The roundabouts were a great adventure last year. I might make several trips through them this year just for fun. 😆 🤣 😂

If you do, just get to the last roundabout at around 6:30 and keep driving in circles until 7. That'll tick all the Randleman fans off.

Jackets prevail, 38-21.

At Salisbury next Friday.
Great game tonight. Jackets are clicking at the right time. They made some adjustments and shut out Randleman in the second half. Now heading to bed. Going to Wingate University D-2 first round football game tomorrow. Go Jackets!!! Go Bulldogs!!!!

I knew Randleman couldnt play with the usual big names
Not sure who the kid was for Randleman but #3 the MLB for them was one cocky jack**. I believe he was warned by the refs more than once for his behavior. He was taunting the sidelines, our players and even taunting our fans. I enjoyed beating them just because of him. Other than him they're a great team nice place to play other than the god awful smoke when their team enters the field. Rotten egg odor. They should do that at midfield and not right there at the visitors stands.
