First off… this game is next Friday and being played at Asheville HS correct (don’t always trust the info on Max Preps lol). Also, can you pay cash to enter? Or digital or both?

It’s on the list of considerations of games I may go see, and with us on a bye, would love to make the trip to support both of these programs.

What do we think of this one?

As for the game, Asheville should win. Just as we should have won last night at Reynolds but no lead is too big for us to blow. That’s what we are as a program and have been for 20 years. If there is a team that can blow a big lead better, I haven’t seen them.

After seeing TCR and Asheville in back to back weeks I have no doubt that Asheville will take care of business. I felt like Asheville’s defense got tired last night against us and we were able to just run it down their throats in the 4th quarter. This may be from not having a lot of tight games and playing the running clock games a lot. I know it’s not their fault but it did appear they hadn’t played a full game with their starters in awhile. I don’t think TCR will be able to stop Asheville’s offense and please cougars THROW the ball more your QB is really good and fairly accurate!

I’ve always seen pictures of that stadium, gotta be one of the nicest facilities in North Carolina.

It’s very nice. I was there in 97 when Brown played them. I about froze to death that night. The wind was doing some blowing down into the stadium.

The first half points for this Asheville team is 168-16..that tells me the coaches have a good game plan and are able to get the players ready to execute during the week...Now, conditioning may be a factor in the second half but we need to do a better job anticipating what the other teams adjustments are going to be

God that’s incredible. We shouldn’t have lost the 2 games we lost either. The Reynolds game was a debacle. I knew when they muffed a punt and another player returned it 50 yards for a touchdown we were gonna lose.

Come on guys, as many trick plays as I’ve seen Asheville pull off over the years, the muff punt was our trick play, we just had to make sure the returner had a clean muff so our other returner could pick it up smoothly! 😂😂

Lol hey the trick plays are deliberate called plays. Having your punt returner bounce a punt off his face and bounce 10 yards away and returned by another player is not lol. However, he did return it, so that’s our fault.
