0-10 East Columbus Forfeits out of playoffs

They were to play #5 Northside Pinetown
The reason for the forfeit was East Columbus had only 14 players available for Friday’s game.

I honestly tip my hat to the coach for withdrawing out in this scenario. Also lets be real.... 0-10 should not even be in consideration for the post season at all.

Very wise decision. It's a joke that an 0-10 team is even in the playoffs. Pack up the equipment and move on.

Yes, some of these scenarios are crazy how some teams make it in.

I remember going 8-2, (5-1 conference)my senior year and only losing to two teams that were in the top 10 in their respective classes, and NOT making the playoffs.

I hope that when this new realignment happens next year, the playoffs are shortened to either five rounds or four rounds. You don't need six rounds of the playoffs to determine who the best teams in the state are. And without question, no winless team should be making it in either.
