This young man overcame many obstacles and setbacks, which resulted in him missing his junior year. He returned for his senior year with a major chip on his shoulder and with his back against the wall. He played with that mentality and put up great numbers, displaying the D1 caliber talent that he always was and is. Today, he gave a verbal commitment to the Marshall Thundering Herd. Congratulations, Antwan Wright.

Wright has amazing talent. I'm glad I got a chance to see him play. Damn sure are a lot of colleges that missed a golden opportunity for a receiver. Congrats to Wright and Marshall University.

Congrats to Antwan.I truly believe he is the best senior skill player in the state.

Seems like to me the Shelby Star runs out of their way to report Crest kids committing to colleges but is no where to be found when Shelby has guys committing. No word of Antwan Wright to Marshall or Darquez Lee to Southern University. Interesting.
