Lake Norman charter is 3a? I thought there was a state law that all charter schools were capped at 2a numbers?
I’m not sure how to answer that one. I just know they are in the SPC 3A and listed in the 3A playoff bracket. I be interested to know myself. Maybe one of the others can answer you on this question
I don’t have an answer to that question, but they better not sleep on Atkins.
They prob got bumped by the formula they used to determine which classification each HS was placed in. And with that same formula, 3A populated schools got placed in 2A and bumped them up 🤷🏾♂️
Mountain 7 got 4 total teams in (W. Hend., N. Hend, Tuscola, and Pisgah) and all wound up in the same quadrant. It kind of stinks that should all win (longshot) everyone would play each other in the 2nd round.
Would guarantee a conference team makes it to the regional semi-finals though.
EB/Burns went to the bottom of the sixth tied at one. Much better outing for the Cavs than I would have expected.

We definitely set our Tuscola up well for Friday’s game other than they now have a long bus ride. Win isn’t guaranteed but a lot of arms used a lot

It was a really good game until the 6th. The starting pitcher for East Burke was really good last night. A wild pitch and an error gave Burns their 5 run 6th inning to break it open. I'll admit I was getting nervous last night.
