Coach Young has stepped down from being the head coach at West Rowan to focus on his health. From what i have read he will still be on the staff in some capacity. Coach Nixon from North Rowan (former west assistant) will be the new HC going forward at West Rowan. This is a HUGE move. I personally have always regarded Nixon as being one of the top coaches in NC. Expect West to be a big factor in 3A again this year
