Rowan set to host High Point
on Thursday at 7 pm for the Area III Championship.

Hayden Simmerson hit a walk off Grand Slam in the bottom of the 7th to carry Rowan County to a 6-5 win and the #1 seed in Area 3. High Point the #2 seed.

Rowan trailed 5-1 going into the bottom of the 7th. With the score High Point 5-2 with 1 out bases loaded Simmerson hits it over the left field wall for a walk off Grand Slam!
